3 Ways To Get Longer Lashes

Beauty trends come and go, but full and thick lashes will always be in style. Even in the midst of a breakout or a tired skin day, Twiggy-looking lashes are guaranteed up your makeup game.
At Prada SS19, Pat McGrath demoed her new mascara, set to drop next February; and if the big bold lashes we saw on her 60s beatniks was anything to go by, we can not wait.
Falsies are always an option in the meantime, but we love the fuss-free feel of nothing but a bit of mascara; so we did some investigating to find out what we could do to get naturally longer-looking lashes. Here’s what we found...
Invest in a serum

Ask any beauty editor and they’ll say they swear by a lash serum and though products like Latisse have been hit with some questionable side-effects, we are happy to report that there are some safer alternatives on the market now. Coming out on top is GrandeLASH, which promises results in up to 2 weeks; and of course, there’s always Revitalash - so cult, it can be found in pretty much every pro’s makeup bag.
Say hello to natural oils
Since lash serums can be intense on the eyes, we’d also recommend using natural oils like coconut or castor oil. Castor oil is known as a natural for hair growth accelerator, (try it on your eyebrows too). Apply either, daily to your lashes and lash line to stimulate growth and give your eyes some much needed TLC.
Brush daily
A lesser-known tip is to also buy mascara wands and brush your lashes with them at least once a day. This will help to remove any debris and dead skin cells, creating a healthy environment for your lashes to grow and thrive!
