4 Halloween Lip Art Looks Using MDMflow

The MDMflow lipsticks are now available at the Slapp Shop and we are in love.
Available in a variety of contemporary colours, these lipsticks come in highly pigmented, matte and semi-matte finishes.
As Halloween is on the way, it seemed the perfect time to get creative with some of our faves from MDMflow.
Here are 4 lip art ideas, to complete and inspire your costumes.
Daddy Long Lips
The Look:
Watch out arachnophobes. This loud and powerful look is great for any Halloween costume. Red is always a sultry choice, easily spooked up by a bold, black spider. This lip can easily go lighter or darker, so you can cater it to match your costume.
How to do it:
Line lips with pencil, before applying your red lippie (MDMflow Supreme Lipstick, £15); for a more strict and severe look. Then, using a fine brush, draw a small hexagon with black lipstick (MDMflow Di La La Lipstick, £15), onto the middle of your upper lip. Draw a larger hexagon onto the bottom lip.
Create two curved lines for legs and two smaller ‘horns’ onto the top lip. Leave a little space in the middle of the bottom hexagon to create a keyhole shape. After leave two points underneath, draw two legs onto the bottom lip, starting from where your lips meet.
Perfect with:
Everything. Whether you’re dressing up as Spidergirl, a zombie flapper girl or Morticia Addams, the possibilities are endless with this one.
Lippy-o’-lantern
The Look:
Stay true to the classics, with a spooky spin on the pumpkin. Add a little glitter, for a bit of extra pizzazz, (and to make the black stand out.)
How to do it:
Apply the orange lipstick (MDMflow V Dutch Lipstick, £15) to your lips, leaving the outer corners exposed. Take a small brush and draw two black triangles on both sides of your cupid’s bow.
Following the curve of your bottom lip, draw a series on black squares (MDMflow Di La La Lipstick, £15), leaving orange spaces between them to resemble a mouth. Paint the outer corners of your lips with the black and line your lips with it.
Draw a small stalk on top of your cupid’s bow to give it more depth.
Perfect if:
You’re dressing up as a Pumpkin, Witch, Freaky Fairy, or you have an Autumn-inspired costume.
Tashy
The Look:
If you’re in a rush and you want a look that won’t take too long, give this moustache inspired look a try. The light pink adds a feminine touch to the bold black moustache and we adore the cute tails on the side.
How to do it:
Apply black lipstick to your top lip. Using a small brush, draw one diagonal line from where the sides of your lips meet. Draw another from just below your cupid’s bow and connect them to make a triangle. From the top of the triangle, draw a curl and thicken it out to match the triangle’s thickness. Fill in the triangle with the black lipstick (MDMflow Di La La Lipstick, £15). Do this on both sides of your lip.
Fill the bottom lip with pink lipstick (MDMflow Billionaire Liquid Lipstick, £19)and add a few black lines in the middle if you want to go fancy a beard.
Perfect with: If you’re embracing your masculine side.
Bloody Lovely
The Look:
Classic vampire. This creepy look is the way to enter a party in style. The pretty pink, combined with the fake blood and false teeth the side is a great way to look like a Transylvanian siren. Don’t be afraid to experiment with a wide variety of lip colours for this one.
How to do it:
Apply a dark pink, or red (MDMflow Supreme Lipstick, £15) lipstick to your top and bottom lip. Using a liquid red lipstick (MDMflow Supreme Liquid Lipstick, £19), drag it down your bottom lip, to create the illusion of dripping blood. Add some red lipstick to your false teeth to make it look more realistic.
Perfect if:
You’re going as a vampire, dark queen, or scary china doll.
