We have always been advocates of inclusivity in makeup and that goes for inclusivity in gender. We know that there are many guys that love a full beat; but if you’re a guy that doesn’t know what a full beat is and still want to look like your best self, then we’re here to help.
Makeup can be daunting, especially if you want a more low key/undetectable look. There are many ways to look your best without slapping it on (although clue’s in the name, we love to do that).
So if you want to look cute and natural here are a few easy ways to get that 2 minute glow up.
Concealer is one of our favourite products for a natural touch up and providing you blend it out well, it can be completely undetectable.
So what do we mean when we say blend it out? And what is concealer?
Concealer is basically a touch up product. It’s like foundation’s less dramatic younger sibling.
You have two main types of concealer: cream and liquid.
Cream concealers usually come in a jar or pot and are more solid. They are the most natural way to wear concealer. As cream products, they warm up on your skin and blend into your complexion more seamlessly.
When applying cream concealer gently press your ring finger into the pot and dab a little under your eyes and on any other blemishes you want to cover up.
Leave it to warm up on your skin for a few seconds. You’ll notice that it will start to get slightly more slippery.
Using your ring finger again, gently pat this product into your skin until it is less visible. Keep 'blending' (/dabbing in) until there is no giveaway between your skin and the product.
With liquid concealer, the same process is applicable; but using the wand or apparatus, dab a few blobs of concealer wherever you need it. Liquid concealers are best blended in with a damp sponge, but this might be an article for another day! For now your fingers will be fine!
So which ones should you use?

Ok so this is actually the first step but as it’s not really makeup, we thought we’d sneak this in second.
If you want to look your best, you must moisturise!
