BTS @ The Slapp Launch Party
On the eve of the 8th of September, the White Space in Covent Garden opened it’s doors to celebrate the launch of the Slapp App; with top industry representatives, friends and makeup enthusiasts coming out to play on our special day. Having received adorable invites distributed by Paperless Post, guests were given the opportunity to test out all the Slapp makeup products including Ellis Faas, L.A. Girl and Vapour Organic, whilst mingling with bloggers and beauty aficionados over delicious apple strudel mojitos, courtesy of one of our wonderful sponsors, Jaegermeister.
Pampering makeovers and beauty-tips were handed out by expert makeup artists from the London Makeup School, so guests could revel over Ellis Faas’ stunning Skin Veil foundation, and discover the entire 24-shade Pro Conceal collection from L.A. Girl.
The room was alive with chatter and party vibes as DJ Miles churned out some major tunes. With drinks being devoured and makeovers in full swing, to spice up the mix even further, singer/songwriter Shanteh Fuller delivered a beautiful acappella rendition of her song ‘Say Aye’. In the heat of the party, the aroma of toasting batter from Wafolie filled the air from their freshly made-to-order waffle stand, and guests could dig into the most mouth-watering gourmet waffles in London. To top off all the evening shenanigans, a photo booth by Say Fromage was set up to capture us in all our beauty basking glory, complete with super fun props to keep the good vibes flowing.
As guests trickled out from the beauty celebrations, Slapp goodie bags were handed out, filled with treats from our generous sponsors including a super soft foundation brush and nail file from UBU, low calorie beauty candy by Beauty in UK filled with collagen protein and vitamin E, healthy snack bars from Kind, avocado hand cream by Crabtree & Evelyn, and cute miniature bags of jelly beans from Jelly Belly. As the doors of the White Space came to a close, still brimming with party fever, we headed down to The Cuckoo Club in Piccadilly Circus to continue the festivities into the wee hours of the morning.
